Peter I need prayer for my Marriage. My wife and I have our issues, I recognize mine, she hers but she is at a place where she feels a divorce is the answer to our problems. I think she checked out of our marriage a while back but I did not know or understand. I still love her dearly, she is my partner, soul mate, my life. She says she just needs to be free of the burden she feels our relationship is, distance. I am so sad, hurt and grief struck. I wish I could have seen this coming a while back but for whatever reason, life carried on and now it is too late. I had lots of hope but now feel that it is nearly gone. Through Jesus, anything is possible but I am slowly losing this hope. Jesus can do anything and knows the desires of my heart but knows whats best as well. We have two small boys (4 and 6 yrs old). We have helped keep this out of their lives as much as possible and they are doing ok but they are affected. I would like prayer for me, my wife and our two boys. Pray for strength, renewed hope but not false hope, change my heart - my ways to be inline with what a husband needs to be for his wife and family, pray for our children that things are not taken out on them or they are used against each other (we do not do this sort of thing though), also pray for my wife and her heart. I know she is hurting bad as well but I do commend her for being able to take a stand in her life but do not feel this is the right way. Maybe in a few months things will turn around for us but I am at my wits end and feel I can only go forward with her request. I want to make her happy, as sad as that is, and if she really wants this, I still will give it to her. Please pray for guidance in both of us in these next few months. 4 Years Ago Commit to pray Write a prayer for this person Share

Vera You are the husband... in the eyes of God that makes YOU the head of the household, and your wife, your helper. God wants you to lead, and He wants her to follow. BUT, you must love her as Jesus loves US! If you really want this marraige to be saved... heres what you must do: Close your eyes, and take several slow, deep breaths... as you exhale, say, "Lord, God, I exhale all stress, heaviness, etc." (use your own words) As you INhale, say, "I breathe IN the Holy Spirit of God" do this until you feel lighter. As you allow yourself to be FILLED with the love of God, you can only SEE the good in your wife, your home, your children, etc. Ask God to also fill your wife the same way. Now you both need to remember, everytime you look at each other, what you saw in the other when you first got married. Marriage is a full time job. Work it! God bless you for making this happen, In the Holy Name of Jesus, AMEN 4 Years Ago
